Modified on: Tue, 17 Feb, 2026 at 3:03 PM
This article is specifically prepared for the integration of Microsoft Dynamics with Sastrify, taking into account its particular steps involved in setting up the connection.
For the main knowledge base articles on ERP & Accounting integration, please refer to the following links:
To connect Microsoft Dynamics to your Sastrify account, please follow these steps:
1. Go to Integrations > Organization & Spend > ERP & Accounting.
2. Find Microsoft Dynamics 365 and click the "Manage" button to open the setup page.
3. Click the "+ Add New" button located in the lower right corner of the page to create a new integration.
4. Enter the name of the integration (for example, "Microsoft Dynamics 1") and click the check mark to confirm.
5. Click the "Connect" button to continue.
6. You will be prompted to install an extension to your Business Central instance. Click "Accept".

To install or uninstall apps in Microsoft Dynamics 365, you need the right permissions:
1. Be part of the D365 Extension MGT user group, or
2. Have the EXTEND. MGT. - ADMIN permission.7. You will then be prompted to log into your Microsoft account. Please sign in to proceed.
8. You will be redirected back to Sastrify's Discovery page, where you will notice that the Microsoft Dynamics integration card now shows an active connection. By clicking on the "Manage" button, you will see that the integration is displayed as Connected, confirming that the connection is successfully established.

What to do if the connection is not successful
If the connection is not successfully established after following the steps above, you need to check the extension in your Microsoft Dynamics environment to verify its deployment status. Follow the steps below:
1. In Microsoft Dynamics, navigate to "Extension Management".
2. Open the Deployment Status page.

3. Locate the entry for the Codat App Link Extension.
4. Click on the extension and review the error message details, if one is displayed.

5. Now proceed by deploying the extension again.
